Yes, I actually watched it, and I'm going to do a review of it:
Some time after a space mission to Mars ends in destruction, strange monsters called "Ancients" begin appearing around Tokyo. A group of specialists consisting of three girls and one troubled young boy must fight the Ancients until they can come to understand exactly what it is they are fighting. CHARACTERS:
To be honest, i really didn't like any of them, The Main Female Lead? Boring! The Main Male Lead? Boring! (though granted, All male leads are pretty lame) Everyone Else?

Oh my... i knew i would dislike this, but i didn't expect that i would be bored watching it!
TL;DR: Yup, its as bad as everyone says it is.
OVERALL:
Is this the worst that anime has to offer? i can tell you with pure honesty that...
...no. it's not.
Why? i can think of anime that are far worse than this, one example is...

What make this worse than HNM? well, HNM is only one Episode, you watch it, you're done with it, you never have to see it again. AkaIro OTOH has twelve episodes plus an OVA (oh, it has fan service too) to watch, and it adds to FIVE FUCKING HOURS - MORE THAN TEN TIMES the length of HNM - to hit us in the... anything really. Ive had it, Ive had it with AkaIro, just go watch anything but this.... this wreck!

AFTERMATH: Adeiu, go watch Chu-2 or Madoka, they are masterpeice's that you should watch right now, as well as **** * **** when it comes out.
If Christina Vee is ever in any of these two anime i will kick my own ass.
